Tae Kwon Do Cultural Assembly

The gym was filled with excitement on Tuesday, February 13 during a lively Tae Kwon Do performance. In celebration of Lunar New Year, Triple J, a group of 15 talented middle school-aged performers, showcased Korean culture and identity to our community.
Spectators, including students, faculty, and staff, marveled at the skills of these teenagers who had recently arrived from Korea, as they executed impressive kicks, flips, and aerial maneuvers. The highlight was watching them break multiple wooden boards with their hands and feet, some even doing so blindfolded. Towards the end, some students had the chance to try out Tae Kwon Do moves themselves, making it an enriching experience for all and offering a delightful peek into Korean culture.
